Usage Recommendations: Simply plug this electronic pest repeller/ultrasonic mosquito repellent into any unobstructed household wall outlet. Place at least one unit per room to be treated. The unit requires no maintenance or refills. Ultrasound loses its intensity as it travels. It is absorbed by soft objects, such as carpeting, furniture, and drapes (which in turn diminish the effectiveness of the unit); and is reflected by hard surfaces, such as tables and walls. Shadow areas may occur around corners or behind home furnishings. Ultrasound cannot reach nesting and feeding places behind walls, under floors, or within cracks. Other factors which may affect results include environmental conditions, individual body chemistry, and applied fragrances or lotions. With over 150 identified species of mosquitoes in the United States alone, and over 2,500 identified species in the world, these ultrasonic mosquito repellers may not be effective against all species of mosquitoes.
